From the opening “Artificial Nocturne” to the closing acoustic “Gimme Sympathy,” Emily Haines and Metric owned the Pageant’s stage on Tuesday evening. Pop, punk, rock, electronic — you name it — Haines proved to be a versatile leader of a band who knew no bounds. Their 2012 album, Synthetica, was wonderful to hear live, and if you get a chance to see them: don’t think twice.
