Pajammy Jam of the Day | Phosphorescent – Song for Zula

Think coffee and cigarettes.  Scotch and cigars.  Hell — milk and cookies for those of you who don’t share in the vices of  the cool. “Song for Zula” is built to spin during occasions like these – when two things, perfect standing on their own, come together to create a feeling uniquely different that that of its separate parts.

So listen, then add strings and Matthew Houck’s voice to the list of things that should be experienced together, especially if you’re one of those people who puts hot sauce on your eggs or a nip of bourbon in your coffee on the weekend.

I can’t imagine a better song to get us all excited for Phosphorescent’s next album, Muchacho, which drops in March.
