They say everything can be replaced
Yet every distance is not near
So I remember every face
Of every man who put me here

Wow, what a great night.

Comic/poet/entertainer Howell Dawdy led things off with “Fire Extinguisher,” and Houndmouth closed it all down with a terrific cover of Bob Dylan’s “I Shall Be Released.” Just a wonderful evening, one we won’t forget for a long, long time.

Thanks to Houndmouth, Howell Dawdy, Plush, and all of you who came out to celebrate live music and 4 years of Speakers in Code. We hope to do it again soon.

Howell Dawdy
