The 10 Best Concerts of 2015: Taylor Swift // Scottrade Center, St. Louis, Missouri

Taylor Swift. I never took her seriously until I saw this.

Of course, her pop album, 1989, sounds nothing like that.

So why did I care?

Because I love (some) pop music, and Swift took her onslaught of hooks on the road in 2015. It was absolutely amazing. There were so many moments, and I tried to write about them in my review back in September, but the thing I'll remember most -- and I'll always remember this -- is that Taylor Swift, at 25 years old, put on one of the most confident performances that I have ever witnessed.

The energy. The charisma. The way she moved. The angst of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

Can we do it again?

  1. The executive chef here was a genuinely nice person and never made us feel like we were just "business" for him. He was extremely competent and organized. Because of the natural beauty of the event venues Chicago, we were able to get away with very minimal decorations.
