St. Louis country favorites Colonel Ford played a benefit concert for St. Stephen ECD & Preschool Saturday night in the back room of 4 Hands Brewing. Owner, Kevin Lemp, said, “I was pleased with the sound, we’ve never had a show back there.” Well, Kevin, we agree and are looking forward to your next show. The room sounded great, the beers were flowing and the Colonel made for a nice evening of honky-tonk. And if you missed the Colonel this past weekend, have no fears, they’ve got a busy couple weeks ahead. They’ll be playing their usual second Friday of the month gig at the Schlafly Bottleworks on Friday 14-Dec, Stovall’s Grove on Saturday 22-Dec and will be closing out the John Hartford Tribute Saturday 29-Dec at Off Broadway.
