I never really liked the carousel rides. Don’t get me wrong — it’s fun at first, especially if you have one of those horses that moves up and down, but if you get stuck on one of those stationary bastards, you’re totally fucked. Either way, like most things in life, after a couple spins around it gets boring and your head starts telling your heart to get the hell off before you either fall asleep or puke.
“Carousel Ride” the song however is a goddam treat! Equally rocky as it is synthy, it’s falls right into this blog’s sweet spot. Self admittedly I have no clue what’s going on in the video below, but that doesn’t really matter. The song kicks ass.
