[PHOTOS] Metric at The Pageant in St. Louis

All photos by Chris Lay
Metric returned to The Pageant last Friday, playing songs from their entire catalog, including their latest album, Pagans in Vegas. This was Metric’s first headlining performance in St. Louis since 2012, and it didn’t disappoint. At one point, lead singer/songwriter Emily Haines left the stage before “Cascades,” and returned wearing a thin, neon green cape. She sang the song at the front of the stage, with a strategically-placed fan blowing beside her, giving her cape life, and creating a mysterious image. The song was not one of my favorites going in, but that all changed on Friday.
