Phantogram will release Three on October 7 via Republic, and we’re just now getting around to the first single, “You Don’t Get Me High Anymore.” It’s vintage Phantogram, so we’re sharing it with you today (we actually heard it first in an Uber on the way to Lollapalooza, and our driver had that bass turnt up yo).

On the song & video, Phantogram shares:

“You Don’t Get Me High Anymore is about the loneliness in superficial relationships and that feeling of not being able to find happiness in places that were once so easy to come across. The desolation in Bombay Beach represents that feeling really well. The area was once a promising vacation spot before the droughts and now it’s a ghost town. We were excited that Grant [Singer] picked that spot, he understood the aesthetic of the song right off the bat and ran with it.” – via FADER
