Jam of the Day | Chromatics – Kill For Love

Portland quartet Chromatics’ seventeen track new record, Kill For Love, was released last week (Italians Do It Better), and the title track is fuzzy, buzzy, electro-pop at its finest. A simple, steady beat sustains the track that is filled with blooming, synthed-out chords and book-ended with computerized bleeps and blips. Vocalist Ruth Radelet’s spellbinding vocals add a touch of glam that melts effortlessly into musical production that is smartly inspired by ’80s electronic/new wave bands like New Order. Nothing wrong with that.
