Jam of the Day | Honeymilk – Red Paper Buildings

I don’t know about y’all, but I can’t sit in a quiet room without going slowly insane. In fact, let’s take that one step further — in my hell, everything is on mute, speakers don’t exist, and everyone, both male and female, has the face and body type of Chris Christie. Good god — shudder to think!

So, it won’t surprise you to know that upon arrival at Speakers in Code headquarters each day, I fire up the ole internet radio transistors, and stream music as I work for minutes on my blog posts.  Usually, this means not hearing a single note being played by whatever DJ happens to be spinning MP3s at the moment. However, once in a blue moon, a piece of music will cut through the brilliance currently firing from those synaptic receptors and force me to pump up the volume and take note.

This is one of those songs — and it was around the 3:00 mark that I officially fell in love with these Stockholmare dudes, and put their album on repeat for the remainder of the day.

Bad. Ass.
